It is imperative that we put into practice the things we will be learning. These skills, tools, and methods we will be learning must be integrated into your daily/weekly routine of preparing Bible lessons and sermons Homework assignments will be designed to accomplish these objectives. It is imperative to complete the assignments when they are given because how and when you complete them demonstrate the extent to which you will go to integrate these methods and principles into your ministry preparation. Most of us are not born with the skill/ability of teaching, public speaking, and preaching. Rather, these skills must be learned and practiced. There are essential steps in lesson and sermon preparation. This class is an opportunity to discuss your fears, apprehensions, challenges, misconceptions, failures, weakness, strengthens, skills, and experiences of success when it comes to the preparation of lessons and sermons. This course does not promise to overcome all of our shortcomings, but rather to begin together the process of focusing our attention on learning and putting into practice essential skills and methods for lesson and sermon preparation

Two weeks will be given for each course objective. During class one, we will cover the topic. Between week one and week two, you will be required to complete a corresponding homework assignment.
